Wrestling fans got the privilege to watch Sting and Kurt Angle wrestling at the same time in the same promotion. It was a dream come true moment for a lot of wrestling fans. Kurt Angle vs. Sting has been a dream match for wrestling fans which actually happened a number of times.
The match between Angle and Sting from Bound for Glory 2007 is still considered a masterpiece where Sting defeated Kurt Angle to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

With all the kayfabe rivalries aside, Kurt Angle and Sting have an amazing relationship with each other which may sound a little weird to some fans. This happens to fans when they see two wrestlers fighting each other with passion on screen but in real life, they are close friends.
As an example, Triple H and Shawn Michaels had some gruesome rivalries in the past but in real life, they were the best of friends. The same goes for Goldberg and Brock Lesnar as well. Goldberg and Lesnar have always been great friends.
Recently, the Olympic Gold Medallist on the Kurt Angle Show spoke on his great relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Sting. He said;

“We hit it off from the start. We got along perfectly well, we had a lot in common. He was just one of the most humble people I had ever talked to. I can’t believe that he was a part of WCW at a time where things there were very political and guys were stabbing each other in the back. For Sting, as nice as he is and as generous as he is, it’s crazy that he had that much success in that company, that’s just outlandish. He’s such a great guy, he’s one of the most solid guys I’ve ever met.”
He also said that if he would face Sting again;
“Well considering I’m 52 and Sting’s a lot older than I am, I’d say the chances are no, slim to none. For many reasons, we’re too old. We’re not too old to wrestle younger guys, you wrestle a younger guy who can spice up the match and make it a little more interesting, you can have some great matches still. When you start losing a step and you’re both older and both lost a step, it’s really hard to make that up.”

With Sting crossing his 60s he still looks to be in good shape ever since he joined the All Elite Wrestling. But Kurt Angle does not want to wrestle anymore so a match between the two is not possible anymore.
