This week’s WWE Raw started as Charlotte Flair came out to the arena after footage from last week’s main event was shown where WWE Champion Bobby Lashley defeated Braun Strowman.
Match – Asuka, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke defeated Charlotte Flair and WWE Women’s Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

The match was booked for five minutes and it did well in story telling. In the end, something happened to Shayna’s left foot, seemed kayfabe. Asuka took the advantage and pinned her. Charlotte knocked out Asuka after the match.
Suddenly, Alexa Bliss was seen laughing near the entrance stage. Another laughing laughing sound was heard which they meant to laughed by the doll of Alexa. The laugh of the doll was pre-taped and sounded pretty annoying.
So many backstage promos were shown. Among them was Jinder Mahal was shown who was accompanied with Veer and Shanky Singh.
Match 2 – Jinder Mahal defeated Jeff Hardy
The match was booked for only three minutes and it was dominated by Jinder mostly. It was a rematch from last week’s WWE Main Event. Mahal pinned Jeff with a Khallas.
Match 3 – The New Day & RK-Bro defeated Elias, Jaxson Ryker and the Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos
It was a nine minutes booked match and it was pretty smartly booked. They avoided any contact between Omos and Orton quite smartly in this match. At the end, Omos was distracted outside as Orton pinned Elias with the RKO. After the match, Orton knocked out New Day too. But he did not do anything to Riddle.
Match 4 – Humberto Carrillo vs. WWE United States Sheamus went to a Double Count Out
For a five minutes booked match it was okay. But it looked like Carrillo injured himself and it looked like a legit injury. This is the reason why this match could not be continued. Carrillo hit Sheamus with Summersault which injured him.
Match 5 – Shelton Benjamin defeated Cedric Alexander
The match was booked for five minutes and in a small they time they delivered an entertaining match. Shelton pinned Cedric with a T-Bone Suplex.
Match 6 – WWE Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka
The match was booked for ten minutes and it was a very good match. Charlotte Flair was on the commentary table during the match. Rhea pinned Asuka with the Full Nelson Drop or the Rip-tied as they named it.
Match 7 – Damian Priest defeated John Morrison
The match was booked for nine minutes. Surprisingly and it was a quite entertaining match. The stipulation for this match was, winner would be able to choose the stipulation for Priest and Miz’s match WrestleMania Backlash. Priest pinned Morrison with the spinning Facefirst. After the match. Miz beat down Priest and escaped.
Priest at backstage asked for a Lumberjack match which became official.
Match 8 – WWE World Champion Bobby Lashley def. Drew McIntyre by Disqualification
The match went on for around ten minutes as Braun Strowman interfered and beat down Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. He put Lashley through the barricade. Braun stood tall as the show went off air.
Overall, it was a good show with good story telling and trying to involve all wrestlers. As the final show before PPV it did a nice job. We give it 3.5 stars out of five. One star will be deducted for not continuing Alexa Bliss – Bray Wyatt angle. And a half star for not continuing Drew’s story with Mace and T Bar.
