This week’s SmackDown started as WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came out in the arena with Paul Heyman. He welcomed the number one contenders for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships The Usos.
Roman Reigns told Jimmy Uso to acknowledge him. Jimmy said that he had acknowledged him already at Hell in a Cell. And it was about them because they were going to win the Tag Team Championship.

Match 1 – WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rey and Dominik Mysterio defeated The Usos to retain
A very good match to keep things off. This match was booked for around 12 minutes and both teams performed really well. At the end, Dominik print Jimmy Uso to retain the championships for his side.
Match 2 – Carmella defeated Liv Morgan by submission
As Ruby Riott is gone Liv Morgan would now be wrestling in singles competitions and job. As she jobbed to Carmella on this night. There is not much to talk about this two and a half minutes booked match.
WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Bianca Belair came out in our usual style. Bianca addressed Bayley and challenged her. Bayley’s laugh was heard and then she was seen on the titantron. She said that she would challenge her for the title at Hell in a Cell. And she started laughing again.
Match 3 – King Corbin defeated Shinsuke Nakamura
This feud is getting meaningless now. And another cheeky roll up victory. Seriously the booking is going really worse day by day. There is nothing much to talk about this match.
Match 4 – WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews defeated Kevin Owens to retain
This was an average match Apollo crews won the match clean, which was not a very good sign for the former Universal champion. She defeated Kevin with a Death Valley Driver on the apron and pinned him. After the match Sami Zayn came out and beat down Kevin Owens.
Match 5 – WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Rey and Dominic Mysterio defeated the Usos via DQ
This match was rebooked because there was a mistake made by the referee in the last occasion. It was a good match again but as Ray and Dominic was edging towards their victory, Roman Reigns inter seat and beat town Rey and Dominik. Jimmy got frustrated with Roman Reigns and left the ring. Roman Reigns stood tall as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
Overall it was a boring show with nothing much to talk about it. It felt extremely lame and none of the feuds are looking interesting right now. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5 stars. The only positive side was the night booking of the Tag Team Championship matches.
