This week’s Smackdown started as the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came out to the arena. She entered the ring and reminded everyone that in 3 weeks’ time, WWE is coming back in front of live audience.
Then she talked about a match with Bayley from Hell in a Cell. She said Bayley pushed her into her limits but ultimately she lost.

Seth Rollins then came out and first congratulated Bianca. He said her victory was a fluke and not as good as his. Bayley came out next and said she could not stand Bianca’s bragging anymore. And the fans deserve a better champion than her.
As Bayley kept insulting Bianca, the champion could not listen to it anymore and attacked her. Cesaro came out and attacked Rollins.
Match 1 – Mixed Tag Team Match – Seth Rollins and Bayley defeated Cesaro and Bianca Belair
The opening match of the night was booked for 9 minutes and it was a good way to start the show. The match was fun and exciting to watch, but to be honest, Bianca’s ponytail swinging is getting cringe now. Bayley pinned Bianca to pick up the victory for her side. Finally Bianca got pinned, good to see her losing finally after nine thousand years.
Next up is the celebration for Shinsuke Nakamura for winning the King of the Ring Crown from Baron Corbin. Celebration was extremely fun to watch as Nakamura kept dancing with Rick Boogs was on the guitar. Pat McAfee was so funny with his dance during it. Corbin was shown backstage who looked very sad.
Match 2 – Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Big E defeated Apollo Crews
This is arguably the best match of the night. This match was booked for nine minutes. Big E has been built really strong in this match who pinned Apollo crews with the Big Ending.
Match 3 – Liv Morgan defeated Carmella
Everybody knew Liv Morgan would win because there was no other choices for Smackdown. The fragility of the roster is making the matches of Smackdown completely predictable slowly.
Match 4 – Jimmy Uso defeated Dolph Ziggler
The match was booked for around 6 minutes and this match should have been given a little longer booking time. It was a good match. Jimmy Uso pinned Dolph Ziggler with a Superkick.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman entered the arena for the main event segment of the night. Paul Heyman said that in less than a year, Roman Reigns conquered the whole division of Smackdow and no one was left. Edge interfered. Roman waa totally shocked to see him. Edge attacked Roman straight. He beat down both Roman and Jimmy Uso. Edge stood tall as this week SmackDown went off air.
Bianca Belair’s ponytail swinging is seriously getting irritating now. She is being built as a dominant champion, how could she kept doing this? Otherwise the show was very good. The matches were good and Edge’s return made the show really fun. We give it 3 stars out of 5.
