Former nine times WWE Women’s Championship recently spoke on the push that Nikki cross is receiving recently from WWE. Cross is working in WWE for over 5 years. She was a big deal back in the NXT, and this is her first big push in the main roster.

Nikki Cross spent seven years on the Independent Circuit before coming to World Wrestling Entertainment. She competed in the British boot camp 2 of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2014 but failed.

Charlotte Flair Speaks On The Recent Push Of Nikki Cross

Cross became a member of the famous NXT stable Sanity after coming to WWE. She was arguably the most famous member of the stable. Her psycho gimmick was really loved by the fans. It was something really new for a woman wrestler in WWE. People sometimes compare Her gimmick with the gimmick of Mickie James when she first arrived to WWE. But the gimmick of Cross was completely different.

Even after coming to the main roster, she continued the same gimmick for a while. But soon it was scrapped. Recently she has been portrayed as a superhero and her new superhero gimmick is quite fun to watch. She is doing an excellent job without any doubt.

Recently her on screen rival Charlotte Flair spoke with the New York Post where she talked about the recent push of Nikki Cross and she praised the Scottish professional wrestler as well. She said;

“I love adding wrinkles and I adore Nikki Cross. I have for many years, prior to her being added to this storyline. It just gives it another person who could be in the title picture against Rhea that is a player and see her grow.

“I’m not sure where it’s gonna go. I think the one-upmanship is I’m saying that Rhea isn’t mature enough and at the same time it’s my own ego that always seems to get in the way. So who really is the mature one? (Laughs).”
