Former two times NXT champion and a former two times WWE United States champion Samoa Joe recently explained why AJ styles is his favorite person to lock in his finishing submission maneuver the Coquina Clutch. AJ Styles has an excellent reputation of selling moves, he is one of the wrestlers to work in a professional wrestling ring.
Samoa Joe and AJ style used to be two of the biggest names of TNA wrestling at a time, and right now both of them are signed with WWE, the promotion that has always been the biggest Rivals of TNA wrestling. Two of them have featured in many main events of TNA pay per view events and every time they went inside a professional wrestling ring together they have created history.
Samoa Joe Says He Is Most Comfortable With AJ Styles To Lock The Coquina Clutch
Joe and AJ Styles had A Feud in WWE too. It was back in 2018, the fluid started at SummerSlam of the mentioned year. The feud was for the WWE championship that was held by AJ styles back then. Ultimately the feud was won by AJ styles and it continued till the Hell in a Cell pay per view event of the same year. AJ Styles and Joe meet each other inside the hell in a cell which was won by Styles.
This feud was a much wanted feud in WWE since it had an excellent past. But it could not become as big as everyone expected it to be. Since both wrestlers are still signed with WWE, we seriously hope soon they will feud again and this time fans would not be disappointed.
Samoa Joe recently spoke to Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast where he explained why AJ styles in his favorite person to lock in his finishing submission maneuver the Coquina Clutch. He said;
“I’ll say AJ [Styles] because AJ always has impeccably smelling conditioner in his hair. It’s always very pleasant for me. I get a little lavender, a little lilac with my pain and agony. It’s a rare thing, you don’t get that combination and you can’t buy that in the street. It’s a specialized and happy experience and I get to enjoy it every time I wrap my arms around AJ’s neck. He’s number one. You can’t beat that.
“Sometimes, the shea butter, I’m not a big fan when he puts that in his hair, it doesn’t have the same scent. When he goes lavender or when he goes to the body shop and gets the good stuff, trust me, it’s a great night for me. When I’m driving home at night, I don’t feel so bad about all the horrible things I did to the people I care about. It’s part of the whole ecosystem that I live in.”
