Former two times WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who is also a former WWE NXT Champion recently expressed his desire to have a feud with Sheamus again because he wanted to have a significant time to tell a storyline with the Celtic Warrior in front of the crowds.
Sheamus, who is a former four times WWE World Champion did not have any steady with Drew McIntyre. They did have matches every now and then where in most of the cases the Scottish Psychopath had to put his WWE title on the line. Of course the matches took place when Drew was WWE Champion, and that before WrestleMania.
Drew McIntyre Wants To Feud With Sheamus Again
The matches they showcased never followed any storyline. In most cases they were mostly some unofficial scripted feuds. But a steady feud between these two individuals which would follow a concrete storyline would be really fun to watch. They have already showed that they have excellent chemistry between each other, so it never gets boring.
Currently, Sheamus is holding the WWE United States Championship and his feud with Humberto Carrillo is coming to an end. But it is unlikely that he would have a feud with Drew next since the Scottish Psychopath is involved in a feud with Jinder Mahal and it just began. It is likely to continue for at least two months.
But they can surely feud with each other in the near future. But the feud should not be a title bout, a non title feud would be more entertaining. Drew McIntyre recently spoke to the Masked Man Show where he expressed his desire to a have a significant storyline with Sheamus. He said;
“Myself and Sheamus had a series of matches that didn’t get too much into our story. The best thing was our last match and the build-up video that really told our 20-year history, which was all a true story.
“We didn’t get into it as much as we could and probably should have, which means there is more time to do it down the line. I think it’d be cool for him and I to have significant time in front of a live crowd.
“You talk about big men slapping meat, Sheamus and I committed crimes on each other in the ring. I’ve been around for a while and been in a few fights in my life, but I promise no fight is close to myself vs. Sheamus in a wrestling match.”
