The current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley who is scheduled to defend his title against the former three times WWE World Champion Goldberg at SummerSlam recently talked about his dream opponents in WWE and also talked about him being compared with Brock Lesnar.

In spite of starting his WWE career back in 2005, he started to be treated as a main event star since the beginning of this year. Of course, he won the ECW championship in 2006 but the reign was never seen as a huge deal back then.

Bobby Lashley On His Dream Opponent And Comparison With Brock Lesnar

Lashley spend a decade outside of WWE after leaving the promotion in 2008. He returned to WWE 2018 and he was not seen as a main eventer instantly. He has started to be seen as a main event star since the early part of this year after he defeated The Miz to win the WWE championship. Since then he is going really strong as the champion.

A lot of WWE fans have already started to say that Bobby Lashley is the new Brock Lesnar of the WWE. It has also been rumoured that the almighty will face the Beast Incarnate at either Survivor Series for at Wrestlemania. There are speculations that this is the reason why WWE is building him really strong.

Bobby Lashley who is the current WWE Champion recently spoke on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions where he talked about his dream opponents in WWE and also talked about him being compared with Brock Lesnar. He said;

“Of course you cannot take out The Undertaker. Never had an opportunity to work The Undertaker and I think he’s incredible. Everybody knows Undertaker is the icon match. The Rock.

“Just pure entertainment, I think that would be an awesome opportunity. Eddie Guerrero. When I first started, Eddie Guerrero was mentoring some of us coming up. Just amazing. I just loved to watch him work.

“Brock. Everybody, since the day that I stepped into wrestling, people have been comparing us and wanting us to wrestle. So I think that’s something for the fans. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Since he said he had one more match left in him. Let’s do it.”
