Professional wrestling legend Goldberg who is a WWE Hall of Famer recently said that he is not unhappy with the former WWE United States champion Matt Riddle anymore. From his recent statement it looked like he has changed his mind on the former NXT Tag Team Champion.
Goldberg and Matt Riddle did not have a very good relationship between each other as both wrestlers publicly insulted each other last year. However Riddle tried to keep the name of Bill hidden in many occasions. But the bad blood they had between each other could not be overlooked.
Goldberg Not Unhappy With Riddle Anymore
Riddle had bad blood with Brock Lesnar as well as he addressed the former eight times WWE world champion as jealous man and he claimed Lesnar was jealous of him because his days were coming to an end and he was shining more than him. The issue was rumoured to be occurred during the Royal Rumble pay per view event last year.
He had issues with Bill as well but it looks like the former three times the WWE World Champion wanted to bury the hatchet as he claimed that he was quite impressed with the hard work and improvement of Riddle. Being a legend of professional wrestling it is an excellent behaviour from him.
Goldberg who is a former three times the WWE World Champion recently spoke with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN where he said that he is not unhappy with the former WWE United States champion Matt Riddle anymore. He said;
“Yeah. The cocky kid (Riddle) spouting off his mouth in the beginning, and I didn’t appreciate it very much by any stretch of the imagination. But the guy has put in a lot of frickin hard work and a lot of hard work, and he’s dedicated his life to this business. Whether I like him as a human being or not, I have to understand and appreciate his passion for the business and his work ethic.”
“Because he works hard and that I appreciate as an athlete and as a human. Is he a prick sometimes? Absolutely. But that’s him. That’s his character, and so am I.”
