Professional wrestling Legend John Cena who is a former sixteen times WWE World Champion recently talked about the rumours of him possibly retiring from the world of professional wrestling.

John Cena is currently trying to make himself a successful movie star as a number of movies starring him has already been released. Dot regular professional wrestler anymore. But he did not stop giving sporadic appearances. Even for Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam pay per view event that aired last Saturday.

John Cena On Possibly Retiring From Professional Wrestling

Every now and then Cena kept coming back to WWE even after leaving the world of professional wrestling for his movie career. But in most cases he lost his matches. Every time he returned he came back only to give push to a number of certain wrestlers. For the recent example she came back to push Roman Reigns.

But there is a rumour floating around the world of professional wrestling that this might have been the last match of John Cena and he would never come back to the world of professional wrestling again. The rumour is true or not, most of the media houses are claiming that John Cena will not be coming back WWE as of now after losing to Roman Reigns and being beaten down by Brock Lesnar. He is not coming back very soon.

John Cena who is a former sixteen times WWE World Champion recently appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America where he talked about the rumours of him possibly retiring from the world of professional wrestling. He said;

“You know, I think… and I’ve made this comment before, I think I will try to do the best I can until I feel as if I’m offending the consumer,” Cena said. “A lot of times you want to kinda hold onto that lightning bolt.

“There is nothing like the energy of being in that ring with the audience around you. There’s nothing like it. I’ve had the fortune and opportunity to do a whole lot of stuff…. that energy is indescribable, that place is my home, I wouldn’t be who I am without it.

“The audience is my family, so I love the environment, but I also want to be kind to them and I don’t want to do it selfishly just to do it. I still feel good, even though I finished second, I still feel pretty good. So, I still feel as if I have something to contribute, so time will tell.”
