WWE Extreme Rules 2021 is here with only six matches booked for the main show. Five of those six matches were title matches which showed WWE failing to book ppv standard non title feuds. Let us get straight to the show now.
Match 1 – The New Day defeated Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Results & Ratings
When did this match got booked? It was quite an unnecessary match and could mostly be seen an a weekly free show match. But it is pretty much clear that they booked it to fill the card. The most entertaining part of the match was the last 5 minutes. It was booked for nearly twenty minutes, which was unnecessary. There was nothing much to say in this match. Big E pinned Bobby Lashley with the beginning to snatch the victory for his side.
Match 2 – WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated The Street Profits to retain

This was a great tag team contest. It was really entertaining as all four men performed really good. The match was booked for nearly 15 minutes and totally worth it. Jimmy Uso pinned Montez Ford after a double Usos splash.
Match 3 – WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeated Alexa Bliss to retain

The maths book for around 10 minutes and it was not a very good match. To be more precise it was an average match. Charlotte Flair pinned Alexa Bliss with the Natural Selection. After the match, Charlotte tore down the Lilly doll.
Match 4 – WWE United States Champion Damian Priest defeated Sheamus and Jeff Hardy

The creative team of WWE just forgot how to surprise the fans, they are just plain and blatant predictable. The match should have been one by Jeff Hardy. It could have been surprising and something that fans would love to see as well. But Priest retained, he pinned Sheamus with a roll up pin. The match was good though, it was booked for 14 minutes.
Match 5 – WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair went to a no contest
It was one of the better matches of the night. What it was also the only match of the night that did not meet any proper result. The match was going really good, as Bianca was closing in on hitting the KOD, Sasha Banks made her return and attacked both women and beat them down.
Match 6 – WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated The Demon Finn Balor

Balor was buried way before the match started. The way the match was booked, everybody knew Roman would retain at the end. And that was exactly what happened. At a point, it was more of a three on one match. At the end, Balor was about to hit Roman with the Coup De Grace, the ring broke and Balor fell down. Roman capitalised and hit Spear to pin him and win the match.
Overall, WWE Extreme Rules 2021 was one of the most predictable shows of the year, and maybe in the recent history of WWE. All of the matches very easily predictable, no titles changed hand. And what type of Extreme Rules was this when there was only one Extreme Rules match and the rest were normal singles matches? It should have never be named Extreme Rules. We give this event 2.5 out of 5.
