John Cena’s entrance music hit and the champ came out to the arena. He received mixed reaction from the fans and he was not booed by the fans as they usually do. Footage from last week’s Monday Night Raw segment between Bray Wyatt and John Cena was shown where Bray Wyatt challenged John Cena in a Last Man Standing match.
John Cena grabbed a mic said that before he talks about that (by pointing to the giant screen where last week’s incident was shown) he would like to say something real quick. He said that he thought one of the worst thing was when one saw something bad happening to a good person. So he said that he would like to say something on behalf of everything who were present in that arena and he wished Daniel Bryan get well soon.
Then he went for Bray Wyatt’s challenge which Wyatt threw last week on Monday Night Raw. He said he had a problem and he did not what exactly it was. Bray Wyatt always talked with charisma and passion, he said a few words over and over again; Last man Standing.
Cena said that Wyatt challenged him in a such a match that Wyatt never had before. In such a type of match, there are no rules, there are no barriers and there is no mercy. This type of match cannot be won by pin falls, submission, count out or disqualification and one cannot even quit. The only way to win this match is to keep the opponent on the ground till the count of ten.
Cena said that he had had these matches. He faced some of the biggest names in professional wrestling in these matches and he took the name of JBL. He said Bray Wyatt was a dangerous man because he could manipulate people. Bray Wyatt had a lot of things but he had some things missing; marbles, cojones, rocks, nuggets, pebbles and raisins.
He said Bray Wyatt should be signing ‘I have got no pearls in my pants’ instead of ‘he’s the whole world in his hands’.
Cena finally said that he accepted Bray Wyatt’s challenge for the Last Man Standing match. And at payback, Cena would be last man standing as Cena said. But that would be at Payback, there should had been something on that night too. He asked the fans what they want. Cena made an open challenge to any member of the Wyatt family and he let Bray Wyatt decide who he should face.
Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen along with his partners. He cut a same type of promo as he usually did. And at the end he sang ‘he’s got the whole world’.
