WWE is organizing the King of the Ring tournament again after two years. The tournament was quite anticipated by the fans and everyone had high expectations from it. The last time it was won by Baron Corbin he later lost to Shinsuke Nakamura.
But how is the graph of this year’s King of the Ring tournament so far? We were expecting a 16 person tournament in both men’s and women’s competitions. But once again they got themselves limited to eight people. It was not a very good decision.
King Of The Ring And Queen’s Crown Tournament Preview And Predictions
There are a lot of wrestlers in both rosters who has absolutely nothing to do. Making the tournament 16 people would have given them something to work on, and it would make it more interesting and competitive as well.
There should at least have been some qualifying matches for these tournaments. It looks so blatant to be booked like this. Why was the wrestler like Jeff Hardy, Kevin Owens, Mustafa Ali, Karrion Kross, Keith Lee and others remained out of the tournament? And how the others got the chance to compete? Same in case of women as well. The whole thing seems really meaningless.
About the men’s tournament, both men that won are quite legit. Among Sami Zayn and Rey Mysterio, of course Sami needs it more, Rey has already won a lot in WWE and he is quite elder to remain in the competition for a long time. On the other hand, Finn Balor had to win the match after losing to Roman Reigns. Else he would have lost all his momentum.
From RAW, possibilities are saying that both members from the New Day would come into the semi final and ultimately Xavier Woods would be going to the final. As it stood, the final of the tournament will hold Finn Balor and Xavier Woods. Both individuals have chances of winning the whole thing. We believe the tournament should be won by Finn Balor, and all the possibilities are indicating towards a possible win for Balor as well.
The Queen’s Crown tournament is nothing but the much anticipated Queen of the Ring tournament. For some reason they decided to change the name, maybe just to avoid the stereotype. So far the tournament has been awful. How come Toni Storm is beaten by Zelina Vega? It just does not make any sense. And why the heck Liv Morgan lost so early? Carmella vs. Zelina Vega at the semis? Does that even sound like a legit match? And one of these two women is going to the final? This is seriously some terrible piece of booking.
From RAW, we believe the semifinal should be booked between Shayna Baszler and Doudrop. This match was quite anticipated as well, it would be fun to see the two individuals going toe to toe through this tournament. About the prediction part, we believe the tournament should be won by Shayna Baszler and Baszler will win.
