Former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella who is currently a member of the Monday Night RAW roster recently said that she tried to give her best on whatever storyline she had been given. She was recently involved in a feud with Liv Morgan which would end after she moved to RAW.

Carmella started her WWE career in 2013 and she has been one of the fewest wrestlers in WWE who did not have a change of brand. From the very first day of the brand split, she is with SmackDown and it has been five years since she is working in the blue side of WWE.

Carmella Says She Tries To Give Her Best In Every Storyline

She made her main roster debut during the second brand split of WWE in 2016 as one of the six women wrestlers of Smackdown. Since then she won WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship and two WWE Money in the Bank. She won the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

As the first money in the bank ladder match had some controversies as Carmella’s partner James Ellsworth grabbed the Money in the Bank Briefcase for her, WWE reorganized the match the very next week on SmackDown which was won by Carmella again, and this time she won it by herself.

Recently the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match winner Carmella spoke to WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves where she said that she tried to give her best on whatever storyline she had been given. She said;

“I try to always take whatever they give me and turn it into something.  I won Money in the Bank through a guy, so that was a big controversy.  Then I’m paired with James Ellsworth for however long and I made that work.

“Then I was one of the most hated people in the business when I was champion.  People hated me.  Three weeks later they paired me with R-Truth and I’m one of the most loved people.  To me, I’m like, ok, you want me to do that?  I’ll do that.

“After that you want me to get a new character.  Then you want me to have a sommelier.  You want me to wear a mask.  Whatever it is that I’m given, I take pride in that I’m going to make this work.  There’s no way I’m not going to make it work, that’s what I’ve done my entire career, and I’m very proud of that.”
