The former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Dominik Mysterio who is the son of legendary professional wrestler Rey Mysterio recently shared his experience with on working with the former eight times WWE World champion the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar.
Dominik Mysterio is mostly famous in WWE not only because of his father’s legendary name, but his appearance in WWE back in 2005 at the age of eight only is also a reason behind his success.
Dominik Mysterio Shares His Experience On Working With Brock Lesnar
Dominik appeared as a part of the storyline between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero back in 2005. In that storyline it was portrayed that Eddie Guerrero was actually his biological father and he was looking for his son’s custody back, which was not true by the way.
The story line was quite weird and these types of story lines are completely impossible to see now a days. This was the first television appearance of Dominik and this story line made him quite famous. After 15 years he returned to the world of WWE as a professional wrestler. Currently he is only 24 year old and he has been extremely impressive so far in his WWE career. Quite surely he has an excellent future in WWE lying ahead of himself.
Rey Mysterio had a feud with Brock Lesnar back in 2019 and Dominik was reintroduced in WWE through this feud. At Survivor Series 2019, Rey Mysterio challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE championship. Brock Lesnar defeated Rey Mysterio in this match but fans understood what Dominik was capable of. He was pretty much involved in this story line and after that he permanently became a member of the WWE roster.
Dominik Mysterio who is the son of legendary professional wrestler Rey Mysterio recently spoke to Out Of Character where he shared his experience with on working with the former eight times WWE World champion the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar. He said:
“My dad had told me that we were going to do something with somebody but didn’t mention who, didn’t mention what. He just said we were going to do something with somebody.
“I’m starting to think who we can work with or what’s going to happen, Brock [Lesnar] never came to mind. We were driving to Phoenix, Arizona where I was going to be in the crowd and I was like, ‘Are you going to tell me now who we are wrestling or what’s the deal?’
“He goes, ‘You’ll see when we get there.’ We end up getting there and next thing you know, I’m getting tossed around by Brock. So, everything was a surprise for me.”
