This week’s Smackdown started as The Bloodline came out to the arena. Roman Reigns reminded everyone that he was not present last week and it was because of what they did to Brock Lesnar two weeks ago. He reminded Brock was suspended and had been fined 1 million dollar. And he took the credit of it.
He then asked Paul Heyman what else happened last week. Heyman reminded Usos lost to New Day in a non title match and Jimmy Uso got pinned. Roman blamed Jimmy for getting the defeat. Jimmy said that he would surely fix the issue.

The New Day came out to the arena. King Woods challenge Jimmy Uso in a match, in which if Jimmy won, Woods would acknowledge the Tribal Chief. But if he lost, he would have to bend his knee to Woods. Jimmy did not agree to be bend his knee but the match was on.
Match 1 – Shayna Baszler defeated Naomi by submission
The whole segment was booked for around five minutes and it did a good job to continue the feud between Naomi and Sonya Deville. Naomi dominated the match and pinned Shayna. As soon as Naomi won the match, Sonya came out and accused Naomi for using the rope while taking the pin and she ordered to start the match again. As soon as the match started again, Shayna locked Naomi into the Kirifuda Clutch and won.
Backstage Ridge Holland was interviewed where he revealed that he had been a die hard fan of Sheamus throughout his life. He said that he would try to follow his footsteps.
Backstage Shotzi was interviewed where she said that ever since coming to SmackDown she lost title opportunities, she lost her Tag Team partner and now she lost the biggest match of a career. She had enough and she would not be taking it anymore. She said that Sasha Banks was her next target.
Match 2 – Los Lotharios defeated Cesaro and Mansoor
So Cesaro’s push was gone. He defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37, had an excellent battle with Roman Reigns for the Universal title at WrestleMania Backlash pay per view event, now he got pinned by Angel Garza. Bravo WWE.
Match 3 – Drew McIntyre defeated Ricochet
It was the Open challenge of Drew McIntyre which was answered by Ricochet. The match was only around four minutes long but it was fun. At the end of the match, Ricochet was attempting a moonsault which was converted into a Claymore by McIntyre.
Match 4 – The Viking Raiders defeated Happy Corbin And Madcap Moss by countout
The match was followed by segment of Happy Talk where the Viking Raiders where their guests. It went heated at the end and turned into a match. Viking Raiders dominated the match and as they were closing in on a pinfall victory, Corbin and Moss escaped.
Next up was a segment between Sami Zayn and Hit Row. Sami said that he would taught Hit Row how to make a proper entrance. After the entrance, Hit Row roasted Sami and Sami left in anger.
Match 5 – King Woods defeated Jimmy Uso
The match was stipulated as if Jimmy lost he would have to bend down to Woods, and if Woods lost, he would bend down to Roman Reigns. The match was nearly seven minutes long, and Woods pinned Jimmy with a roll up. After the match, as Jimmy was being forced to bend down, Roman Reigns came out and attacked the New Day. The Bloodline beat down the New Day after that. The Bloodline stood tall as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
Overall, it was an average show. There was no booking regarding the Intercontinental title and it was not even mentioned. The intercontinental championship is perhaps the worst booked title after the Women’s Tag Team Championship. There is no progress of the women’s division in this week either accept that backstage interview with Shotzi. We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.
