The current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns who is also a former five times World champion in WWE recently talked about his feud with his cousin the former 7 time WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso that took place last year.

The feud between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso is considered a classic. Through this feud Jey Uso show the world what he was capable of. Jey received massive praises from the world of the critics of the professional wrestling. He presented some amazing matches alongside with his cousin WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He was excellent throughout the feud, and of course Roman does not need to be praised separately.

Roman Reigns On His Feud With Jey Uso

The feud between the two cousins started just after Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship at WWE pay per view event Payback last year where he defeated the former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman and the former three time WWE world champion Bray Wyatt in a triple threat match. Reigns quickly switch to a feud with his cousin Jey Uso after that and their first match was book at the very next pay per view event of WWE which was the Clash of Champions.

Reigns defeated Jey Uso in that match by technical submission, however, the feud continued and at the very next pay per view event of WWE which was Hell in a Cell, the duo battled in a first ever I Quit Hell in a Cell match. Once again Reigns came out victorious.

The feud did not continue for long after that as Reigns started a new feud with Kevin Owens and Jey Uso allied with him. This was quite unfortunate that such an amazing feud had to take place behind closed doors because of the covid-19 pandemic.

Roman Reigns who is also a former five times World champion in WWE recently spoke to Bleacher Report where he talked about his feud with his cousin the former 7 time WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso that took place last year. He said;

“I think to me, personally, I think the most special was the stuff I did with my cousin Jey. I felt more connected to those two matches and that storyline than I’ve ever felt to anything else, and a lot of those promos and stuff like that and the emotion you could see in it were real.

“I think we were able to tap into baggage that we’ve had that we may have never spoke about or thought was an issue like common ground, but it was something we were able to dive into.”
