Professional wrestling legend and future WWE Hall Of Famer The Undertaker who is a former seven times WWE World Champion recently talked about WWE RAW star Omos. He compared the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion with WWE Hall of Famer the late great Andre the Giant.
Omos made his main roster debut last year but he was not much recognized. He also made appearances during the RAW Underground. He started to appear more regularly from earlier this year as the Tag Team partner of former two times WWE World Champion AJ Styles. Hands were badly waiting to see him in action as soon as they saw the huge guy. WWE did not rush into anything as they waited till WrestleMania 37 for his in ring debut.
WWE RAW – The Undertaker Praises Omos, Compares Him With Andre The Giant
At WrestleMania 37, he teamed up with AJ Styles to take on the new day for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. He had been presented as completely unstoppable. Since then he remained an unstoppable force. His opponents can never get anything offensive against him.
Recently on the Survivor Series pay per view event, WWE organised a 25 man inter promotional Battle Royal, which was completely dominated and won by Omos. He single handedly eliminated 12 wrestlers. It is quite sure WWE is planning something huge for this big guy.
Vince McMahon is always fond of big men. There had been so many big names in the history of WWE and most of them became quite famous. Even if some were not very famous, they had always been treated as a strong force during their time in WWE.
Some of the most famous big men of WWE are the likes of the Undertaker, Kane, Kevin Nash, Andre The Giant and the list goes on. But the most famous of them all has to be Andre the Giant. Omos has all the potential to be one of the biggest stars in WWE.
The Undertaker who is a former seven times WWE World Champion recently spoke on The Bump where he talked about WWE RAW star Omos. He compared the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion with WWE Hall of Famer the late great Andre the Giant. He said;
“The biggest thing for him… and it’s funny you mentioned him, because I say this… there will never be another Andre, but this guy is as close as we’ve come. I mean, and that’s a big statement, but he’s special. Omos is special and the big thing for him to know and to realize is that he is special, and that he’s different than everybody else.
“There’s nobody… you know, the average size of the wrestler in general is smaller than it was, you know, so here’s this guy who’s incredibly athletic and he’s incredibly huge, and he’s just a big, big, strong man. It’s important for him to make sure that he protects that, and sometimes guys don’t understand what that means. He and I have had a couple conversations about what he should do and what he shouldn’t do, and if things get too heated, call me.”
