Monaco ready to buy Radamel Falcao after a failed stint in England 1
Falcao will return to Monaco after his loan expires with Chelsea

Radamel Falcao’s connection with Premier League seems to be over with the Colombian heading back to Monaco, who was at Chelsea on a loan. The previously creative striker has spent two seasons in England. In the last season, he was at Manchester United and at Stamford Bridge in this season.

Last season, the 30-year-old made just 26 top-level appearances. He started 14 games but he was subbed off on all but four of those as United struggled. Notably, Chelsea hoped his slow season at Old Trafford was a glitch and decided to snap him up as the main back-up to Diego Costa.

However, with Chelsea he scored one goal in one match he started with the Blues, along with nine sub appearances.

The Colombian now has one year left on his contract with the Monaco and it looks like they have run out of options of places to ship him out.

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has confessed he will have to find a way of playing the 30-year-old Colombian. He confessed: “Falcao will return, I’m pretty sure he will play with the team next season.”

“All we need to do is define some details but most likely is that he will return to the shirt of AS Monaco”.

Since Falcao grabbed 28 La Liga goals in the 2012-13 season for Atletico Madrid, the 30-year-old has scored only 16 league goals in four seasons. Two of them was at Monaco, one was at United and the last one was at Chelsea.
