Juventus set to sell Aaron Ramsey this month but Arsenal not in the race

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that star midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be leaving the club in the next few days. Former Arsenal midfielder is strongly linked with English Premier League return but no official offer was made but now after Allegri’s remarks Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Everton have registered strong interest. Arsenal are also keeping an eye on their former playmaker but his big wages will be an issue for the London giants.

The 31-year-old Wales captain arrived at the Old Lady from Arsenal in summer 2019 on a free transfer. But Ramsey has appeared in just 70 matches for the Turnin side and scored just 6 goals in the last two and half years. He is struggling with fitness and finding it tough to break in Juventus’ midfield lately. The arrival of Luca Pellegrini and Manuel Locatelli the last summer has further restricted his chances with just one Serie A start this season. Weston McKennie, Arthur Melo, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Adrien Rabiot are also ahead of Ramsey in the pecking order for Massimiliano Ramsey.
