This week WWE United States champion Damian Priest and the former WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Kevin Owens officially started a feud through a match. The overall planning of this feud is still not known but it can be a very interesting and exciting feud if booked well.

Priest faced Owens in a non title match in which Owens defeated Priest. It was not a clean victory but it was a pin fall victory and it has to be quite important since Priest has not been pinned by anyone for quite a long time. He has been presented as an Unstoppable force since winning the title.

A number of wrestlers challenged Priest for the title since he won it but nobody could come close to him as a worthy opponent. For the first time since he won the title someone has been shown challenging opponent. We hope this is going to be an epic feud which will meet some exciting consequences.

Clearly they are going to start a feud between Priest and Owens for the WWE United States Championship. Even though it has not been officially confirmed. Both of these wrestlers are going to participate in the Royal Rumble match so we can hope the feud will continue afterwards.

We believe the feud officially start from the Royal Rumble pay per view event and it should get a boost during the Royal Rumble matches well. Either of the two eliminate the other one, and the eliminated one takes revenge just after getting eliminated. This would have been a great way to start the feud officially for the title.

The feud should not end before WrestleMania 38 and Priest should head into WrestleMania as the WWE United States champion and Owens should be the challenger. Just a one on one match for the title between the duo would do.

If they keep on building the feud from now on, this can be an amazing feud for the United States title heading towards Wrestlemania 38. No mid card title recently got such an excellent booking for any WrestleMania. If this actually happens it would be an excellent and worthy feud for Wrestlemania.

Now let’s talk about who should come out victorious at the end of the feud. We think it should be Kevin Owens who should win the WWE United States Championship ultimately at the end of this feud and close it. As for Damian Priest, his push should not be killed and he should continue building himself to some non title feuds next.
