Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley who is a former ten times tag team champion in WWE recently revealed that he has the full control over the WWE 24/7 Championship segment and he made all the recent segments regarding this title.
WWE 24/7 championship was brought into light for the first time in 2019 and it was an alternative of the Hardcore Championship which was defunct back in 2002. Fans were really excited to see such a title with such an entertaining concept. The title was getting booked quite good at first.

But slowly it started to get irrelevant. Over the months it has become a sole property of Monday Night RAW and we do not even remember when was the last time the title was defended in SmackDown. But that is not the issue. The actual issue regarding this title lies elsewhere.
WWE is failing to book the Championship properly for over a year. Of course it has been defended a number of times and went through a different number of champions sometimes but most of the times WWE decided not to book it properly.
For a recent example, as soon as Dana Brooke won the title, the title picture has become absolutely awful. There were back to back meaningless and terrible segments that we cannot count. It is such a pity that such a title with an amazing concept is being wasted like this.
If D-Von Dudley is behind all these bookings, then we must say that he is a terrible booker. If he is behind all the statements regarding the title, he is completely wasting it. We believe Vince McMahon should give someone else the charge of booking the 24/7 Championship if he actually wants to make it interesting for the fans.

“And the 24/7 Title with Reggie. I’ve had great times with those. All of those matches with Reggie were great. I enjoyed so much of it and you know, Vince [McMahon], he was able to give me — he goes, ‘D-Von, that’s your baby.
“You have creative control. You know what I want, my vision. Go head and put your twist on it’ and he let me, he allowed me to do that. He allowed me to be in charge of those matches and I think that’s why we were able to be as successful as we were with the 24/7.”
