Former four times WWE World Championship Seth Rollins who is also a former WWE United States champion and a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently talked about the WrestleMania match that hooked him. He revealed that the main event of WrestleMania VI between Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior was one of his favorite WrestleMania matches of all time.
As mentioned above, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Hulk Hogan And The Ultimate Warrior from WrestleMania VI was the main event of that night. This match is still considered as one of the most shocking matches not only in the history of the WWE but in the history of professional wrestling.
Seth Rollins Reveals His Favorite WrestleMania Match
The most shocking main event of WrestleMania after Andre the Giant was beaten by Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania III. The main event of WrestleMania VI will always be remembered as one of the best WrestleMania main events of all time.
But what happened that night? Hulk Hogan was undefeated at WrestleMania before WrestleMania VI. He already defeated some of the biggest names of professional wrestling at the previous WrestleManias including the likes of Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, Andre The Giant and Randy Savage.
Ultimate Warrior was more of a rookie by that time. Nobody expected he could defeat the best in the world in the time. But he actually did. He shocked the entire world when he defeated Hulk Hogan that night.
Literally nobody expected such an unthinkable. A lot of Legends of professional wrestling talked about this match and they also mentioned how shocked they were when Hulk Hogan was beaten by Ultimate Warrior.

The victory of Warrior could not be as impactful as WWE thought it would be on the later stage. But no matter what the circumstances were, this match will always be remembered as one of the best matches in the history of WrestleMania.
Seth Rollins who is also a former WWE United States champion and a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently spoke to Josh Martinez where he revealed that the main event of WrestleMania VI between Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior was one of his favourite WrestleMania matches of all time. He said;
“I would say Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6. That’s probably the one for me that got me like stuck, stuck. I was a fan a little bit before that, but that was the one,” Seth Rollins said. “I have the image of the video cassette tape burned into my brain of WrestleMania 6. So, that would be the one where I was like, ‘yeah, this is it for me.’”
“There’s a few obviously that come to mine. Maybe we will go chronologically here, in reverse,” Seth stated. “The Edge match at the Garden the last time we were there was a really special one to me. I mean, I know it was a somber ending. But it was a really fun atmosphere and a cool opportunity to have. We don’t do television tapings there that often anymore, so that was really, really fun for us.
“Then you go back to Barclays and The Shield’s first match against Team Hell No and Ryback, which was pretty special for all of us, and got our careers in the mainstream kicked off in the right way. Then winning the Ring Of Honor World Championship in the Hammerstein Ballroom was about as special as it gets.
“I think that one might have been actually the Manhattan Center to be honest when I won it. But either way, those are three off the top of my head that are defining moments of my career.”
