Professional wrestling legend and two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T who is a former five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently discussed about the WWE championship reign of Big E.
Big E’s push was intended way back in last year’s Royal Rumble pay per view event. It was reported that he was scheduled to win the Royal Rumble match and going to challenge for a world title at Wrestlemania 37.

Booker T Discusses The WWE Title Reign Of Big E
But for some reason the push was postponed. He then went on to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in July. After two months he cashed in his contract on Bobby Lashley to win his first and only WWE Championship.
The Championship run of E was quite a dominant run. He had been a dominant champion ever since winning the title and he hardly lost any match since winning it. He defeated and pinned the former WWE champion Bobby Lashley back to back which already built him as a dominant champion.
He was having quite an excellent Run against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens as well. Among these four men, E was certainly built as the strongest of them all and of course as a worthy WWE Champion.
But this one of E could last for near about three months only. As we all know, he defended his title at the Day 1 pay per view event in a fatal 5 way match against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar.

Previously it was scheduled to be a fatal 4 way match, but Brock Lesnar was added later after his previous opponent Roman Reigns was found covid-19 positive. To surprise the entire world, Brock Lesnar won the match and won the WWE Championship after he pinned E himself.
This week on Monday night RAW Bobby Lashley has been crowned as the new number one contender for the WWE title. So E is out from the WWE title picture as of now. For us, the title reign was good, but nothing exceptional.
Booker T who is a former five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke on his Hall of Fame podcast where he discussed about the WWE championship reign of Big E. He said;

“I thought Big E had a good run and I thought the championship made him better. It was almost one of those things where I always say that when you win the title, it makes you a better performer, normally, just because you know that you’re the World Heavyweight Champion.
“You walk a different way. You feel a different way. I don’t know what it is, but that effect definitely got a hold of Big E, and you can see him falling into that role as being the WWE Champion. He believed he should have been the WWE Champion. I thought he did a great job.
“We didn’t get a chance to see Big E have a whole lot of classic matches as champion or anything like that, but I think that’s where Big E has a chance to come back and capture it again and grow. I think Big E is going to be in this business for at least 5 to perhaps 8-10 more years, maybe, in this business, not the WWE, but in the business. He has a chance to grow over this time and become the performer he wants to be.”
