IPL 7 has perhaps been the best so far. The fact that the last match will decide the 4th semi finalists just speaks a bit on the favour of this. Both MI and RR will be competing for the 4th spot . RR just needs to win this game or not to lose this by a big margin . On the other hand , it’s a must win game for MI and that too with a significant margin. Strong points: Mumbai Indians will come into this on the back of some strong recent performances and have now looked a more settled side. The revival of Hussey and form of Simmons have helped them to solve their opening riddle. Rohit Sharma is batting well and Pollard is finishing the innings. Not to forget their bowling. Harbhajan is bowling as well as ever, young Gopal has made a mark and Bumrah is looking a decent death overs bowler. Rajasthan Royals depends on a team work rather. SO many bowling options has been their strength. Cooper is bowling well and so has been Faulkner. Cooper and Faulkner are also contributing as pinch hitters or rather more than that. Hodge has struck some neat blows lower down the order. Table has been highlights of this season. Weak points: MI will miss Malinga at the death overs . He was somone , on whom MI banked for the death overs and otherwise MI looks a balanced side. It will depend on the day’s performances. RR , on the other hand have a lot to ponder over. Openers have been giving a slow start. Watson and Binny have looked out of sorts with the bat. Sanju Samson has been getting starts and then throwing it away. The batting positions of Hodge and Faulkner needs to be re thought of as they have been performing well with the bat , but are always left with too much to do with. Otherwise , MI is likely to go with the same side. Predicting an RR 11 before a match is very difficult as they come out with something different.
