This year’s Rumble did not disappoint us at all. It also came up with a lot of surprises. But that does not necessarily mean that they were all good, most of them were bad, and terribly bad. For a number of bad bookings it became one of the worst brambles in the history of the WWE.

Let us first talk about the shockers from the women’s Rumble match first. The first surprise in the Rumble match was the entry number to which was WWE Legend Melina. The way she got eliminated was even more shocking. She was not even presented as a legit competition to Sasha Banks.

Speaking of Sasha Banks, started the rumble quite well, she even listed to quick eliminations by her name but suddenly she got eliminated and it was quite early in the match. She was the third individual to get eliminated from the women’s Royal Rumble match which was quite shocking.

We are not talking about the other surprise entrances of the Royal Rumble match but we must talk about one, and that is the return of Ronda Rousey. It was already rumoured but it was really good to see her back. Not only she came back but she won the Rumble match as well. The women’s main event of WrestleMania is going to be epic.

Men’s Rumble match did not come up with much surprises, however, the biggest surprise turned out to be the biggest reason behind the failure of this event, that is the Rumble win of Lesnar. It is not a bad thing, but the way he won was not acceptable at all. He made the whole process totally irrelevant.

About the other surprises, Bad Bunny and Shane McMahon were the two surprise entrants. Finn Balor not appearing in the Rumble match was even a bigger surprise. We would take Balor than Shane McMahon as a rumble entrant any day. Moreover, the event could have been way better if Brock Lesnar did not make the men’s Royal Rumble match irrelevant.
