5 Indian Cricketers who were ignored by Dhoni

MS Dhoni is undoubtedly the most successful and one of the greatest captains to lead India.
However, the man, who had scripted India’s success at the inaugural T20 in 2007 and 2011 World Cup, has always been criticized for his over-reliance on under-performing yet familiar players and ignoring proven match-winners and stars.

Let us look at 5 unlucky Indian cricketers who despite being one of the biggest stars of the game have been constantly ignored by Dhoni.

1.Harbhajan Singh:

13bhajji

With close to 700 wickets in international cricket, Harbhajan is definitely one of the best spinners in the country.  While he has not performed very well in the domestic circuit, his form in the IPL  had the credentials to make it to any playing XI. While he was picked for the T20 series in Australia, Asia Cup, and World T20 recently, he was not given ample chances to prove himself once again. Dhoni’s decision to ignore him is baffling considering the fact that his main spinners R Ashwin and Ravinder Jadeja have constantly struggled to perform in the overseas conditions.
