Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews who is also a former WWE United States champion recently talked about his wish to work with several NXT stars. She also praised a number of NXT stars whom he would like to work with in future.
Since the rebranding of NXT, the brand has changed a lot. Previously it was being treated as the third brand of WWE parallel to Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown. But since the rebranding, it is being strictly treated as the development Territory of the promotion and it is not the 3rd brand anymore.

Apollo Crews Wants To Work With NXT Stars
Even at the Royal Rumble pay per view event this year, there was not even a single entrant from the NXT. Every year WWE come out with multiple NXT entrants in the Royal Rumble match. But this year there was none, neither in the women’s Royal Rumble match nor in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
There are a number of NXT stars right now who are ready for the main roster and we may see them in the main roster very soon. One of them being Tommaso Ciampa who is also on the hit list of Crews. We believe he is going to make his main roster debut at the raw after WrestleMania episode.

The other wrestlers from the NXT that Crews mentioned to be his desired opponents are quite interesting as well and we believe we can see them in the main roster soon as well. One of them is the former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne who is currently one of the most technical wrestlers of WWE.
The other one is also a former NXT UK Champion, Walter aka Gunther who is the longest reigning NXT UK champion. He has given some of the best matches during his WWE NXT UK career and currently he is focusing on the NXT. Surely he is destined to be a big star in the future of WWE.

Apollo Crews who is also a former WWE United States champion recently spoke to Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. where he talked about his wish to work with several NXT stars. She also praised a number of NXT stars whom he would like to work with in future. He said;
“There’s a lot of talent down there. This is a guy that’s actually another indie guy, but Pete Dunne, he’s so talented. Tommaso Ciampa is another one, he just lost the title, but these are guys I am more familiar with. I’ve had the chance to work with Pete Dunne, but it was in a multi-man match or something, but never anything that was one on one.
“Walter, he’s another guy, Gunther, sorry about that, I got that one wrong. Roddy, Roddy Strong. Those four or five guys I would love to mix it up with a little bit.”
