Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has expressed his disappointment and anger after the selectors did not pick Shreyas Iyer, Aditya Tare, Siddhesh Lad – trio of Ranji trophy champions Mumbai – for four-match Test series in West Indies.
The 17-man squad for the tour includes 3 players from Maharashtra- Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma and uncapped Shardul Thakur.

Kambli took to twitter to slam the selectors. Blasting the selectors, kambli said that the trio deserved a chance in the squad after a brilliant domestic season.
Tare,Shreyas Iyer. Lad . should have been given a chance as they have done well in domestic Cricket.

Sreyas Iyer finished the Ranji trophy season as its highest run scorer with 1321 runs, while Lad and Tare finished the season with 691 runs and 569 runs respectively.
The former player did not stop there as he questioned the selection of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravinder Jadeja and Wriddhiman Saha in the team. Kambli also accused the selectors of destroying the careers.
