This week’s RAW started as footage from Madison Square Garden was shown where Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns had a fight and Roman beat down Brock Lesnar badly with a Steel Chair to stand on top of him with both titles.

The show started as Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins came out to hype their tag team match later tonight. They explained why they were the best tag team in WWE right now and they also claimed that they are going to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships today.

The Alpha Academy interrupted them and the two duo had and argument and they said that it would not be difficult for them to retain the titles tonight. RK-Bro was seen standing backstage where they talked about their chances of winning the WWE Raw Tag Team championships.

Match 1 – WWE Raw Tag Team championships – RK-Bro defeated The Alpha Academy and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens to become new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions

It was a great match. Now it is quite understandable why WWE is desperate to give better ratings as they are putting such excellent matches on free television. Rollins and Owens dominated the most part of the match, but at the end, Riddle pinned Chad Gable to win the match for his side.

Match 2 – WWE 24/7 Championship – Dana Brooke defeated Tamina to retain

Here is one title that is being wasted completely. WWE is more concerned about building up back stories between the characters involved in the title match than the title itself. Had we seriously do not understand why Dana Brooke had to be protected like this as the 24/7 Championship. They seriously need to book this title better.

The Miz and Logan Paul came out to the arena to hype their WrestleMania match Against the Mysterios. “The King” Jerry Lawler was also a guest of this segment. In this segment, they talked more about the host city Cleavland than their WrestleMania match.

Match 3 – Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Brekker defeated The Dirty Dogs

This match was six minutes long with the babyface side dominating and winning. The main roster debut of Bron Brekker was quite impressive who pinned Dolph Ziggler with the Lifted Power Slam.

Match 4 – Omos defeated Apollo Crews

It was a squash, as expected. Omos is still an unstoppable force. We wonder how this would end up. About this match, Omos completely squashed Apollo Crews. He pinned Apollo with the two handed Chokeslam. Next week Omos might face Commander Azeez.

Edge came out to the arena. We are really fortunate to see Edge as a heel after such a long time. The lighting effect was quite different as well. It was a dark blue light effect which went really well with the promo. Edge hyped match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38.

Match 5 – Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan defeated Queen Zelina and Carmella

The condition of the match was, if Rhea and Liv won, they would have been added to the women’s Tag Team title picture at Wrestlemania. And that is exactly what happened, Rhea and Liv completely dominated the match and Rhea pinned Zelina with the Riptide to earn the victory for her side.

Match 6 – Finn Balor defeated Austin Theory by DQ

The match was five minute long and Balor nearly won the match clean before Damian Priest interfered and attacked him which led the match to go to disqualification. Priest nailed Balor with the Outsider’s Edge.

Kevin Owens came out to the arena. He said that he would be hosting the KO Show at WrestleMania 38 and his guest would be some legend from Texas. He named JBL, Booker T and Shawn Michaels who are all from Texas but he did not invite them. At the end, he invited Stone Cold Steve Austin to be his guest in the KO Show at WrestleMania 38. Owens stood in the ring with his music played as this week’s RAW went off air.

The shows are improving with WrestleMania 38 edging near. This week’s RAW was quite better than the recent episodes. There were good matches as well as good promo segments. The only terrible about this week was the booking of the 24/7 Championship, just like every week. The Women’s Tag Team Champions had been terribly booked as well. There was no promotion for the RAW Women’s Championship either. We give it 2.5 stars out of 5.
