This week’s SmackDown started as footage from Madison Square Garden was shown where Roman Reigns and the Usos beat down Brock Lesnar. They also showed footage from last week where Paul Heyman was chased by Brock Lesnar.
The Bloodline came out to the arena. Roman Reigns started cutting a promo. Paul Heyman was informed that Brock Lesnar could not be here tonight Since his flight was late. Later Heyman again informed that his flight has just landed and he was on his way. As soon as they got to hear it they escaped.

Backstage Brock Lesnar attacked Roman Reigns with a lifting truck when Roman and his teammates were sitting inside their car. The Usos attempted to escape in a mini truck and Brock Lesnar ripped one of the doors of the truck apart. They escaped anyway.
Brock Lesnar enter the arena with the broken door of the truck. Lesnar addressed Roman Reigns and said that he could run and hide as long as he can but he has to face him at WrestleMania.
Match 1 – Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs defeated Los Lotharios
This match was booked for around 7 minutes and it was not a bad match. The match was booked to promote Nakamura and Boogs as the Legit Tag Team for Wrestlemania. Boogs pinned Angel with the Pump Handle Slam for the win.
Match 2 – The Viking Raiders and Drew McIntyre defeated Shanky, Jinder Mahal and Happy Corbin
This match was booked for 5 minutes and Drew McIntyre has been presented as an unstoppable force in this match. He did not start the match but as soon as he went inside, he completely dominated the ring. He pinned Shanky with the Claymore for the win.
Match 3 – Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi went to a double disqualification
This was the best match of the night. It was booked for nearly 10 minutes and it has been thoroughly entertaining. As the match was heading towards its end. Both teams were attacked by Natalya and Shayna Baszler. The fourth team for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania beat down the rest.
Pat McAfee entered the ring. He cut a promo about himself how he got into this business. Austin Theory came out to the arena. Pat McAfee was told to apologize to Theory. Pat apologized but insulted him. Theory took a selfie with Pat and left.
Match 4 – Ridge Holland defeated Kofi Kingston
This was the shortest match of the night and it was quite an easy victory for Ridge Holland. Sheamus and Butch create a distraction from the outside, Holland capitalise the situation and pinned Kofi Kingston.
WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair came out for the main event segment of the night. She talked about her dominance over Ronda Rousey last week. Ronda Rousey came out to the arena. There was no exchange of word as they went on a fight straight. Once again Charlotte Flair came out as the stronger force of the duo as she power bombed Ronda through the announce table. Charlotte Flair stood tall as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
It was not a very bad show. The first segment of the night and the women’s tag team match was good. But the rest of the night was nothing special. We wonder what would happen to the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 38? There is no build up for the title at all even now. Only two week remain before WrestleMania. We do not see any legit competition being built in such a short time. We give it 2 stars out of 5.
