Former WWE champion and a former WWE four times Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston who is also a former three times WWE United States champion and a former 14 times Tag Team champion in WWE recently talked about the doubt about his WrestleMania 38 spot.
It looks like there will be no New Day at WrestleMania 38. WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match has been already set between the Champions The Usos and the the Challengers will be Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. So far there is no picture of the New Day in the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match for WrestleMania 38.
WrestleMania 38 – Kofi Kingston Unsure About His WrestleMania Spot
However, there will definitely be a chance for the team to get added on to the SmackDown Tag Team title picture later. A lot of title matches has been changed for a number of times, so there will definitely be a chance of the New Day getting added into The Smackdown Tag Team title picture at WrestleMania 38.
Even though there is a fat chance of Big E to be featured on the match since he picked up a scary neck injury. But Xavier Woods is already Back in action, so there is definitely a chance of him teaming up with Kofi Kingston to challenge for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38.
This is the only chance for Kofi to get featured at WrestleMania 38. There is no other option left for him. This year WWE has been really bad in booking good title matches. Till now there is no sign of two of their mid card Championships getting booked at WrestleMania 38. They have sacrificed the whole match card for only one match. We hope we get to see some better matches get added soon in the card.
Kofi Kingston who is also a former three times WWE United States champion and a former 14 times Tag Team champion in WWE recently spoke to Bart Winkler where he talked about the doubt about his WrestleMania 38 spot. He said;
“But with regards to what I’m going to be doing at WrestleMania, I don’t know, I’m not sure. Hopefully, Woods will be back and we can mix it up with some of these tag teams out there. But everything is up in the air, you never know what is going to happen leading up to WrestleMania, that’s why it’s so exciting right now because we really just don’t know.
“Yeah, man, with regard to E, for those who don’t know, he actually broke his neck a couple of weeks ago. And luckily, you know, I say, luckily, but, you know, he fractured his C1 and C6 and it wasn’t any worse than that.
“He didn’t have any spinal cord damage, he didn’t have any misalignment. He is moving around pretty well, all things considered. and it’s now just a matter of rest and recovery, he will not be available for WrestleMania, for sure, I can guarantee you that.”
