Former two times WWE world champion Drew McIntyre who is also a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently revealed that he could have missed this year’s WrestleMania due to a neck injury.
Drew McIntyre is having a feud with Baron Corbin for months. Finally, a match between the duo is going to take place at WrestleMania 38. WWE tried their best to promote this match. They also kept this match intact till WrestleMania 38. We can definitely hope for a great match between the duo from the grandest stage of them all.

Drew McIntyre Says That He Could Have Missed This Year’s WrestleMania
It all started at the Day 1 pay per view event when McIntyre was attacked by Baron Corbin and Madcap Moss in the backstage. They badly hurt his neck. This injury kept him sidelined from action for nearly a month. But he made his return in the Royal Rumble match and eliminated both Corbin and Moss.
The injury that he picked up was scheduled to be kayfabe but unfortunately it was real. Somehow it brought more dynamic to the storyline. McIntyre had back to back matches with Madcap Moss and in all of those matches he came out victorious, the two faced each other at the Elimination Chamber pay per view event as well.

A match between McIntyre and Baron Corbin has finally been made official for WrestleMania 38. They have tried a lot to build this feud as much as they could, but somehow the feud remained really ignored by the fans. Nobody seemed really that interested for this match. But we can definitely hope for a good match since both are capable of delivering good matches.
Drew McIntyre who is also a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to The Bump where he revealed that he could have missed this year’s WrestleMania due to the neck injury. He said;

“I feel great that I was able to come back so quickly. Initially, it was a little bit scary. Obviously everyone saw what Happy and Madcap did to me. But speaking to the doctor, doing some tests afterwards, there were some lingering issues going on and I was informed, ‘Hey never mind making the Rumble, you may not be making Mania the way you’re looking right now.’
“It took a couple of weeks, a couple of doctors, some serious rehab, and some serious determination from Drew McIntyre, but thankfully, I was cleared and was able to come back at the Rumble. I’ve been a 100% ever since, on TV, live events, appearances. Absolutely nothing is ever going to stop me. There is a very good reason they used to call me the terminator.”
