Former four times WWE World Champion Seth Rollins who is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former WWE United States champion recently talked about his intentions of replacing the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels as the new Mr WrestleMania.
Shawn Michaels has remained Mr. WrestleMania for a very long time. He has presented some of the best matches in the history of WrestleMania including the first match that attracted the eyes of the fans which was the intercontinental championship ladder match from WrestleMania X against the late great Razor Ramon. At WrestleMania XII, he won his first WWE Championship after he defeated Bret Hart in a 60 minutes Ironman match.
Seth Rollins On Possibly Replacing Shawn Michaels As Mr. WrestleMania
In the following years he presented some amazing matches for WrestleMania as well including his main event match for the WWE championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV. His next WrestleMania was WrestleMania XIX where he presented and other amazing match against Chris Jericho and the list went on. Perhaps best WrestleMania match was against the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXV.
It is being said that Seth Rollins is slowly replacing him as the new Mr WrestlMania. But we do not see it is possible by any means at this moment. Rollins did present some good matches on the previous WrestleManias, but he is miles away from what Shawn Michaels did. He can definitely be the next Mr WrestleMania but not anytime soon.
Seth Rollins who is also a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former WWE United States champion recently spoke to Sports Illustrated Media podcast where he talked about his intentions of replacing the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels as the new Mr WrestleMania. He said;
“It’s going to be a moment. One thing I’ve learned on this journey to try and find my way to WrestleMania is that, I am Seth Freakin Rollins and I am the moment. You look at WrestleMania over the last eight to ten years, and all I do is make moments.
“It doesn’t matter who I’m in the ring with or what we’ve got going on, I find a way to make moments. I am the moment. I am my own main event at WrestleMania. Anybody lucky enough to share the ring with me has a good chance to steal the show.
“You can run down the laundry list of my past WrestleMania accomplishments, but it’s right there in front of you. It too me a while to see that, but I am WrestleMania. I’m the new Mr. WrestleMania. Shawn (Michaels) had his time, he’ll always be the original Mr. WrestleMania, but look at the track record the last decade. They don’t get no better than me.”
