WWE star and a former WWE United States champion Damian Priest who is also a formal WWE NXT North American champion recently talked about the contributions of Triple H in his career and said there would have been no Damian Priest if there was no Triple H.

Damian Priest made his main roster debut just last year during the Royal Rumble paper few event as a participant in the Royal Rumble match. He had been pretty impressive in his first appearance in WWE. Everybody was rooting for him to be a big star in WWE in the future. Even WWE Hall of Famer Kane praised him after Royal Rumble last year.

Damian Priest Reveals Triple H’s Contribution To His Career

During the Royal Rumble match he acted like a heel but WWE presented him as a babyface. After his Monday Night RAW debut he allied with international celebrity Bad Bunny who was involved in a feud with former two times WWE champion The Miz in that time.

Miz and Bad Bunny what scheduled to face each other in a one on one match at WrestleMania 37, but later it was changed to a tag team match where John Morrison became the Tag Team partner of the Miz and teamed up with Bunny. This was also the WrestleMania debut of Priest who had been pretty impressive in his first Wrestlemania match.

Priest and Bunny won this tag team match and the babyface push of Priest continued even after WrestleMania 37. He had been pretty impressive since and at SummerSlam 2021 he won his first main event Championship which was the WWE United States Championship. Recently he has teamed up with Edge after turning heel.

Damian Priest who is also a formal WWE NXT North American champion recently spoke to Masked Man Show where he talked about the contributions of Triple H in his career and said there would have been no Damian Priest if there was no Triple H. He said;

“There is no Damian Priest without Triple H. That’s 100%. There are no ifs and buts about it. I am not sitting here with you if there is no Triple H. And then, so you have that. And then his help, his advice, encouraging you to believe in yourself more so than he believes in you.

“Like, ‘no, no. You need to believe in yourself more.’ You know, I’m someone who always consciously doubts. Like, I’m not a negative person. I’m a very positive person, but I would question myself sometimes.”
