There is little denying the fact that Ravi Shastri loves to live life king size. The former India allrounder and head coach’s larger-than-life personality is not a secret at all. But despite that, Shastri has always maintained a different image in front of the camera. While he never shies away from showing his true self, he also makes sure that his colourful life does not become the talking point in the cricketing fraternity. And perhaps that is why his recent tweets have taken the netizens by surprise.

Shastri, on Friday (May 20), posted a string of tweets, leaving everyone surprised. All the tweets were filled with swagger as he boasted about his life and his attitude towards it. In the first tweet, he posted a photo of himself wearing a shiny tracksuit while also sporting an oversized chain and a pair of goggles. More than the photo, it was the caption that grabbed everyone’s attention as he wrote: “‘Good mornings’ are optional if you haven’t slept at all.”

A couple of hours later, Shastri posted another tweet with another photo. In his second tweet of the day, he boasted about his life, writing: “My family lives in Mumbai and I live in the moment.”

Shastri was not done yet and soon posted another tweet. The third tweet was even more surprising as he hilariously wrote: “You’re in her DMs. She’s on my VIP guestlist.”

At the moment, no one really knows the reason behind Shastri’s tweets. While some fans are claiming that his account might have been hacked, some are guessing that it might be for an upcoming commercial. Whatever be the reason behind Shastri’s tweets, the fans have come up with some hilarious reactions.

Shastri is currently a part of the commentary panel for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). His tenure as Team India’s coach had ended last year after the conclusion of the T20I World Cup where India failed to progress ahead of the group stage. Shastri had taken over as the head coach in 2017 by replacing Anil Kumble. During his tenure, India won the Asia Cup and two Test series in Australia among many other notable victories.
