At WrestleMania 38, WWE Hall of Famer and former 11 times WWE World Champion Edge formed a stable along with Damian Priest and currently it is famously known as the Judgment Day. Edge had a match with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38, when Styles was in a pole position of the match, Priest distracted him leading Edge to the victory.
The feud between edge and AJ Styles did not end after that, in fact, it continued. Edge kept on cutting promos along with his new tag team partner. At the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view event that took place recently Edge went one on one with AJ Styles.

Why The Judgment Day Stable Will Not Be Significant For Long
Once again Edge came out victorious over Styles, this time thanks to the latest member of his stable, which turned out to be Rhea Ripley. It had been rumoured for weeks that the former RAW Women’s champion would be joining the stable. And it fairly looks like a very good decision.
There is also rumours that more members will soon join the stable. One of the strongest rumour to join the stable is the former two times NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. The 37 year old would be a great fit for the stable. Overall it looks like an amazing stable that WWE lacked for quite a long time.

But what is the point behind the stable ultimately? Would it help anyone in anyway? In every era of professional wrestling we have seen main events stables that had a great boost for the main event status. Previously we have seen stables like the Four Horsemen, the nWo, the Hart Foundation, D Generation X, The Evolution and many more. Most of them had great influence on the main event division of their respective promotion.
But how impactful would be the Judgement Day? There is a very fat chance of seeing this stable running on the main event position. There is no way Roman Reigns would be dropping his Universal Championship to Edge or anyone else of this stable. So it can never be a main event stable.

Besides, Edge has already made it clear that he does not want anymore World Championship reigns. So it is quite obvious that the stable could never be a big threat to the main events. And as there is not enough big stables in WWE right now, without being a big threat to the main event, soon, Judgment Day will be obsolete.
But there are ideas that can make the stable a big threat and huge attraction in the future. After Ciampa or someone else joins the stable, they could have an all out feud with the Bloodline. If Naomi joins Bloodline during the period, it would be even more interesting. This is something that WWE definitely should consider doing. Taken restore the lost interest of the fans by making such a feud in the near future.
