Professional wrestling legend and former WWE star Goldust aka Dustin Rhodes who is also a former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently talked about the post WrestleMania promo of Cody Rhodes which he delivered on Monday Night RAW. He said what their father would say after hearing that promo.
Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 after 6 long years. She is the son of professional wrestling Legend Dusty Rhodes and he had been a product of WWE. He spent over 10 years in WWE before getting released from the promotion in 2016. In this 6 years he when through a lot of things. On the Independence circuit for three years and in 2019 he joined founded professional wrestling promotion AEW as an authority figure.

He spent over 3 years in the promotion but decided to leave it in 2022. WWE did not hesitate to sign him once again for the promotion and it looks like this time he will be pushed as a main event star, something he was the Never given in his previous run in WWE. On his first match after return, he faced former WWE champion Seth Rollins and defeated him.
On the next night on Monday Night RAW that took place after the night of WrestleMania 38, Cody delivered a very emotional speech where he addressed his father. He himself got emotional during this speech. It looks like this time he will be pushed as a main event star in WWE.

He said what their father would say after hearing that promo. He said;
“I knew Dad always wanted us to be happy. He would have his suggestions and things like that and try to lead us in the right way. But ultimately, these are our decisions. Money is money, and Dad would always say, ‘Take the money.’”
“I know just me watching his (Cody’s) first promo and seeing Dad up there on the screen and talking about him, and Cody is very passionate about his promos, about every single word that he’s going to say which is very important, and especially for that first one, which was very important. You’re making a huge impact on a lot of people, the first time he’s been back in years, and he did. I know Dad would be happy.”
“He would be sitting in the rafters. That’s where I pictured him when me and Cody wrestled at Double or Nothing.”
