Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley who is a former 10 times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about the infamous incident of Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of WWE and say it that it could all be kayfabe.
Bubba Ray Dudley said that it could all have been a plan so that Naomi could join the Bloodline. The former two times SmackDown Women’s champion is rumourd to join the Bloodline stable led by the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns for quite a long time.
Bubba Ray Dudley Thinks Sasha Banks And Naomi Walking Out Could Have Been All Kayfabe
The infamous incident of the former WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of WWE took place recently on an episode of Monday Night RAW. The two was the scheduled to be a part of a six pack challenge that was booked for the main event of that mentioned night. The winner of the match was scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
According to a lot of sources, Naomi was scheduled to win the match. And Sasha banks was scheduled to become the number one contender for The Smackdown Women’s Championship that is being held by Ronda Rousey right now. But during the show, the duo submitted their Championships to the office of John Nauritaitis and walked away. The main event of the night had to be changed because of it.
The more shocking part was, WWE kept on discussing about this incident publicly, something that they never do. This is my a lot of critics and fans are thinking that this might all be kayfabe. Meanwhile, the Women’s Tag Team Championships had been vacated and a tournament had been announced to crown the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Bubba Ray Dudley who is a former 10 times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Busted Open Radio where he talked about the infamous incident of Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of WWE and say it that it could all be kayfabe. He said;
“Hey, maybe this is all one giant story to split these girls up and get Naomi into The Bloodline. Don’t know. If it’s a work, I love it already. This is Heyman-esque level, pay attention to details work.
“The way I was brought up in this business, you don’t walk out. You find a way to compromise. And if they were uncomfortable with something, I’m sure, in those eight hours, could’ve come up with ways to compromise so that they wouldn’t feel uncomfortable in the ring. It sounds like somebody was uncomfortable with the outcome of the match.”
