Ever dependable and reliable Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane turned a year older on the 6th of June. The elegant right-hander has been the spine of India’s batting in test matches and has been simply impeccable so far. Rahane was also recently named as the vice-captain of the Indian test team, ahead of the tour of West Indies.
With India scheduled to play approximately 17 test matches in the next cricketing season, Rahane’s contributions for team India will be extremely crucial. He has done well in all conditions and has already notched up 6 test centuries in just 22 tests.
