UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 is all set to kickstart this month. The much-anticipated event will kickoff at Old Trafford on Wednesday, July 7(IST) where hosts England take on Austria in the curtain-raiser. The competition ends with the final scheduled at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 31st July.
A total of 16 nations are participating in the competition. The countries have been divided into four groups of four teams each. Originally, Russia qualified for the Euros but they received a ban from FIFA from participating due to the invasion of Ukraine.
Portugal were selected to compete in the finals in place of them. The league stage will be followed by the quarterfinals. The top two teams from each group will make it to the quarterfinals.

Women’s Euro 2022: Full Schedule
The entire tournament will be held from July 7 to July 31. The group phase will end on July 18 with the match between Iceland vs France and Italy vs Belgium. The quarterfinals will be held on July 20, 21 and 22 while the semifinals will take place on July 26 and 27.
