Continuing his fine start to life at Barcelona, Raphinha scored an absolute worldie from outside the box against bitter rivals Real Madrid on Sunday (July 24).
With each passing day, Raphinha is fast becoming a fan favourite among the Barcelona fans. His decision to join Barcelona at any cost has already won him a lot of fans. Earlier this month, the Spanish outfit unveiled him after securing his signing.
And it did not take the Brazilian long to show he could be worth every penny of the €59m spent on him as he scored once and provided two assists on his debut. Raphinha stole the show against Inter Miami in his first outing for Barcelona as the Spanish giants won the preseason friendly by 6-0.

He then delighted the Barcelona fans with his statement before the preseason friendly against Real Madrid in Las Vegas as he expressed his desire of scoring against the bitter rivals.
“I’m really looking forward to playing these games because for me they are the best,” Raphinha had said before the game.
Raphinha goal against Real Madrid:
Remaining true to his words, Raphinha scored against Real Madrid in his first-ever outing against them. And it could not have been a better goal. The star winger scored the only goal of the match in the first half to put Barcelona ahead.
It was an absolute belter from outside the box as he capitalised on a poor piece of defending from Real Madrid. It all began when the Barcelona players pressed for the ball, forcing Eder Militao to kick the ball across the top of his penalty area.
The ball landed right on Raphinha’s foot and he did the rest in style. He launched an absolute missile into the top right corner to give Barcelona a deserved lead.
