WWE Raw star Theory who is the current WWE United States champion recently remembered his segment with WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin and discussed almost having a beer with the Rattlesnake. The segment took place at WrestleMania 38.
It was indeed one of the best segments of the event. It all started with a one on one match between Austin Theory and Pat McAfee. It was one of the most anticipated matches of the event as McAfee was coming back to action after quite a long time.
Theory Reflects On Almost Having Beer With Steve Austin
The crowd was totally hooked with this match as they enjoyed every moment of it. Ultimately it was won by McAfee and it turned out to be one of the most entertaining matches of the event. After this match, McAfee challenged Vince McMahon instantly in a match.
McMahon accepted the challenge and he defeated McAfee. It turned out to be one of the worst worked matches of the night. It had been criticized by the fans and the critics, McMahon never needed this segment. It was a terrible look for McAfee too. But the next part of the segment helped the fans to forget whatever happened previously.
Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared and it gave us the nostalgic memories of the Attitude Era. At first he entered the ring and nailed Theory with a Stunner. Then he hit the Stunner on McMahon, even though it was the worst Stunner ever sold. Even McAfee could not be saved from the Stunner either.
Theory who is the current WWE United States champion recently spoke to Out of Character with Ryan Satin where he remembered his segment with WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin and discussed almost having a beer with the Rattlesnake. The segment took place at WrestleMania 38. He said;
“It’s so funny you bring that up because, okay, so this is something about me, I don’t drink at all. I’ve never had alcohol before. So, literally WrestleMania I get my ass stunned. I’m standing in the back and, and that’s the thing – you wait for people to come to the back and shake their hand and ‘thank you for that out there stunning my ass.’
“So, here comes Stone Cold through the back, and he’s got a beer in his hand. And he’s just covered in beer and I hug him. And he’s like, ‘Thanks, I appreciate it.’ And I’m saying thank you too. And there was a moment in my head where I was like, ‘Stone Cold is gonna hand me this beer, and I’m gonna have to chug it.’
“Like, there’s no way. I’m gonna chug it so fast, I don’t know what’s gonna happen to me because I’ve never had a beer before. But I gotta chug it, it’s Stone Cold Steve Austin. But he didn’t hand it to me. So everything was good.”
