This week’s SmackDown started as Ronda Rousey came out to the arena. She demanded her suspension to be lifted or else she would not be leaving the ring. Adam Pearce came out along with security guards to get her out. Ronda beat down the security guards. But as Pearce brought police, she decided to surrender.
As Ronda Rousey was being taken out by the police backstage, WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns was seen entering the arena. Finally, Roman Reigns attended a show after missing out on three back to back shows.

Match 1 – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament first round match – The Toxic Attraction defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville
Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark were the two women from NXT who were scheduled to battle for this women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity. But earlier tonight they were replaced by the Toxic Attraction because of injury. Before the match, Bayley and her team joined the crowd.
About the match it was quite good. It was a 7 minute long match where the debuting Toxic Attraction was really impressive. Bayley and her team never got physically involved in this match. At the end, Natalya was locking Gigi Dolin into the Sharpshooter, but Jacy Jayne who was the legal woman pinned Natalya with a roll up.
The Maximum Male Models along with Max Dupri and Maxxine Dupri were seen inside the ring. Before they could start their promo, The Hit Row appeared to interrupt them. They took out the Maximum Male Models and presented a rap which was pretty cool.
Match 2 – Fatal 5 Way No 1 Contender’s Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship – Sheamus defeated Happy Corbin, Ricochet, Madcap Moss and Sami Zayn
There are a lot of things to talk about this match. Firstly it was an over 16 minutes long match and indeed it was one of the best matches in the recent history of Smackdown. What an amazing match it was! All five performers will really impressive.
The local crowd of Montreal was totally behind Sami and they did not care about the rest. It was a totally unpredictable match, at some point it looked like Sami was going to win, and at some point it was Madcap Moss. At the end, Sheamus pinned Corbin with a Brogue Kick to win this pay per view standard match.
Match 3 – Liv Morgan defeated Shotzi
This was a short 3 minute long match and it was a routine win for Morgan. She pinned Shotzi with the Oblivion. After the match, Shayna Baszler attacked Morgan and threatened to break her arm at the Clash of the Castle.
The final segment was between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. The fans were having a lot of expectations as if their might be the announcement of splitting the titles or Karrion Kross might be added into the match. But unfortunately no such thing happened.
It was just a normal one on one conversation with things being violent at the end. Drew was the stronger one between the duo in this fight. Sami Zayn came out to save Roman but nothing worked for the Tribal Chief. Drew beat down Roman and stood tall with the title as the 1200th episode of Smackdown went off air.
Overall it was not a bad show, just there was nothing special about it. Fans were expecting some big news about the world title match at Clash of the Castle, but there was nothing. The Fatal 5 Way match was absolutely amazing. But the rest of the night felt a little dull. Since this was the 1200th episode of Smackdown, we could definitely expect a better show. We give this week’s Smackdown 1.5 out of 5.
