Professional wrestling legend and the current WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley who is a former four times World Champion in WWE recently talked about WWE Raw star Theory and praised him. He called him an extremely talented wrestler.
Theory aka Austin White started his professional wrestling career back in 2016 at a very young age of 18. He worked in some independent circuit promotions and had been really successful all over the Indies. He won multiple World Heavyweight championships from different independent circuit promotions. He worked on the indeed for 3 years before joining WWE in 2019.
Bobby Lashley Praises Theory, Calls Him Extremely Talented
After signing with WWE he started working on the NXT which is the development territory of the promotion. He worked in multiple storylines in the NXT before making his first main roster debut in 2020. But it did not go very well as he was sent back to the NXT soon after making his main roster debut in 2020.
Once again he started working on the NXT and this time he was not given any main event push during his time in the NXT, in fact he was mostly treated as a jobber. When he returned to Monday night RAW last year during the WWE draft, nobody expected to see him as a potential main event star of the future.
But surprisingly, not only decided to push him as a potential main event star of the future but the next face of the promotion. Recently he won the WWE United States Championship after he defeated Finn Balor. But he dropped the title to Bobby Lashley and on the same night, Theory won the Money in the Bank ladder match. WWE has high hopes from the youngster and he is maybe the next big thing of the promotion.
Bobby Lashley who is a former four times World Champion in WWE recently spoke to Ariel Helwani at BT Sport where he talked about WWE Raw star Theory and praised him. Here is what he had to say;
“Man, I’m just a glutton for punishment, you know how it is. I give everything that I got into everything that I do. And like I said before, I keep doing this, man. I’m out here grinding with these kids, kids half my age. I’m out there fighting, I’m out there busting my ass every day. And this is just part of it. I always say, you know, this isn’t volleyball. We go out there and fight, and this is just a casualty of war.”
“Man, By the time he’s my age, he’s going to be on a stack of money as high as this building. He’s gonna be a super, super duper star. 23 years old, that kid has everything in his future. I can see him being a multiple-time world champion. He’s gonna be going after Cena’s record, he’s gonna be after Ric Flair’s record. He’s going to be setting some records that you would never, never imagine. The kid is extremely talented.”
