This week’s RAW started as Damage CTRL was seen making their entrance as Bayley was scheduled to compete in a no 1 contender’s match against Alexa Bliss. Last week both of them earned their opportunities to compete in this match. But before Alexa made her entrance, Becky Lynch appeared and attacked Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky. Dakota and Iyo escaped through the crowd as Becky followed them.

This match was booked for 10 minutes and it was a good match. The Champion Bianca Belair was present at the ring side who did not get enough involved into the match but she created a big distraction for Bayley at the end, which was unintentional of course, that helped Alexa Bliss to pin Bayley after the Twisted Bliss finishing maneuver.

After the match, Bianca offered a hand shake to Alexa, Alexa in return offered to hug. Before they hugged each other, Bray Wyatt’s logo appeared on the bug screen for a moment only, and Alexa quickly put Bianca on the Sister Abigail spot as if she was getting possessed again. But she quickly released Bianca and left the ring with a confused look. Bianca looked as confused as Alexa as well.

Match 2 – AJ Styles defeated Chad Gable

This match was set when the OC was seen making fun of the Alpha academy for what happened to them at Friday Night SmackDown. Chad Gable then challenged AJ Styles in a match and it took place immediately. About the match, it was booked for six minutes and it was not a very difficult victory for AJ Styles. Karl Anderson was seen today since he would be competing at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom. AJ Styles pinned Gable with a Styles Clash.

Match 3 – The Judgment Day defeated Akira Tozawa and The Street Profits

This match was booked for 11 minutes and it was a good match. The babyface side dominated the most part of the match, it was a little awkward to see Akira Tozawa dominating the whole Judgment Day all alone. It was not a very good look for the best heel faction of Monday Night RAW. Tozawa was preparing for a Frog Splash on Dominik Mysterio but Damian Priest hit a Razor’s Edge on Tozawa from the apron, and Dominik pinned him to earn the victory for his side.

Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis bought some merchandise from the money they earned from the Miz and they started distributing the merchandise among the WWE Universe. Meanwhile the Miz tried to escape with the money but Adam Pearce stopped him and asked him to return the money.

Miz said that he was desperate to keep the money so give him any condition to get it. Gargano proposed the Ladder match for next week where the money would be on the line and with one condition, Miz would have to put another bag of money on the line. So the Ladder match is on for next week.

Match 4 – Iyo Sky defeated Candice LeRae

This match was booked for six and a half minutes and it was a good match. Good to see the unpredictability of this overall feud, Candice got the last win over Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky won this week, so there had been unpredictability. It was a clean win for Iyo, she pinned Candice with a Moonsault.

Elias was scheduled to face Solo Sikoa next. Elias got attacked by Bloodline last week so he was seeking revenge on Solo. Before the match he confronted Kevin Owens and requested him to be on his side to help him against the Bloodline.

Owens reminded him whatever he did throughout the year and reminded him of the Elias – Ezekiel drama. It was if feel good moment to get all those memories back and it was good to see WWE did not want to forget us about it. Owens sold the moment really well. He did not say yes or no about he would be on Elias’ side.

Match 5 – Solo Sikoa defeated Elias

It was an easy win for Solo Sikoa as expected. The match was booked for around 5 minutes and Solo dominated most part of the match. He pinned Elias with a Spinning Solo and it was a clean win. After the match, Solo and Sami Zayn started beating down Elias more but Kevin Owens came out for the rescue. Once again he avoided contact with Sami Zayn. As Elias grabbed Owens’ shoulder in gratitude, Owens hit a Stunner on Elias in return.

Match 6 – Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka

This was a grudge match for what Rhea did in frustration to Asuka after losing be triple threat match last week. About this match it was book for eight minutes and it was another good match for tonight’s RAW. Dominik kept on helping Rhea from outside of the ring and Asuka sprayed Blue Mist on his face in frustration. Rhea quickly pinned Asuka with the Riptide.

Match 7 – No. 1 contender’s match WWE United States Championship – Seth Rollins defeated Bobby Lashley

This match was booked for around 10 minutes and it was a good match. But honestly it was not good enough to be the main event of the night. Lashley dominated the most part of the match. At the end of the match, Rollins kicked out of a Spear, when Lashley attempted another Spear, Rollins countered it to a Pedigree and quickly pinned Lashley.

After the match, Lashley started taking his frustration out on the referee. He hit a referee but it looked unintentional. Adam Pearce came out and started screaming at Lashley. At the end, he fired Lashley. Lashley started yelling at Pearce in disbelief as this week’s RAW went off air.

It was a good week of Monday Night RAW which featured some action packed matches and good promos. WWE booked a total of seven matches for this week’s RAW and all of them were good. Some of the segments were pretty fun too. But since WWE is booking a Women’s Tag Team Championship match for this week on SmackDown, there should be some kind of promotion for it on this week’s RAW.

Booking of Becky was a little weak too. No appearance from Austin Theory either which was a downgrade. And of course, no World Championship segment, which we keep saying almost every week about RAW. We keep this week’s edition of RAW 1.5 out of 5.
