Professional wrestling legend and two times WWE Hall of Fame Booker T who is also a former five times WCW World Heavyweight champion and a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently talked about the rumours of CM Punk potentially returning to WWE.

CM Punk had been one of the biggest stars of WWE during the early days of the PG era. He was one of the biggest Rivals of John Cena and of course a huge contender for the WWE World title. He had been a six times World champion in WWE and he was about to become a megastar before leaving the promotion in 2014.

Booker T Reflects On CM Punk Returning To WWE Rumours

After leaving WWE he remained out of action for over 7 years. But finally in 2021 he returned to action holding the hands of the newly founded professional wrestling promotion AEW. Fans were extremely excited to see him back in action after such a long time. It seems like the dominance of WWE will finally end after AEW manage to signed the mighty Punk.

But it looks likePunk’s AEW run is coming to an end as well since he could not adjust in the locker room and most of the wrestlers are unhappy with the former six times WWE World Champion. Rumours are floating all over the world of pro wrestling that Triple H is interested to bring him back in WWE but there are no concrete news on the topic yet. Punk returning to WWE would be a great idea.

Booker T who is also a former five times WCW World Heavyweight recently spoke on his Hall Of Fame podcast where he talked about the rumours of CM Punk potentially returning to WWE. He said;

“There’s always a chance, you know, but, I don’t think it’s a big chance or anything like that, that we see CM Punk back in WWE. I don’t think CM Punk wants to go back to WWE. I mean, CM Punk has made it perfectly clear ever since he showed up in AEW what he feels and what he thinks about WWE and everything in it.

“I don’t think that feeling is going to change or anything like that. We see the turmoil in AEW right now and all of it surrounds CM Punk, every bit of it. People can say, Hangman Page started it, this, that, whatnot, and the other, but you know, that’s like little kids, you know what I mean?

“Well, he hit me. Well, you hit me first. One of those types of things. I think we’re past that. So, from a business standpoint, no, I don’t see CM Punk back in WWE. That’s just my opinion. I could be wrong, but I don’t see that.”
