This Week’s RAW started as Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns were seen sitting in their locker room where they talked about Kevin Owens and John Cena. They also talked about their upcoming tag team match on Smackdown. Rest of the Bloodline was seen spreading chaos backstage as they were beating down random people. Mustafa Ali was one of their victims.
Match 1 – The Street Profits defeated The Judgment Day

WWE RAW 19.12.2022 Results & Ratings
This match was booked for lesser than six minutes and it was an average match to start the night. The Street Profits earned a cheeky victory as Finn Balor got distracted by outside chaos and Montez Ford pinned him with a roll up. Currently they don’t have any vision about Street Profits, then why are they even beating Judgment Day? It is killing the momentum of Finn Balor completely.
Match 2 – Rhea Ripley defeated Akira Tozawa
We got to see an intergender match after a long time in WWE but it was ultimately a pointless match where Tozawa did not get a single offence, absolutely nothing. Rhea totally dominated Tozawa and ultimately she pinned him with the Riptide. Maybe it was a good look for Rhea but such intergender matches are really meaningless where women got protected throughout and do not take even a single offence.
Backstage more wrestlers and personnel were seen attacked. This time it was Dolph Ziggler and Cedric Alexander. Cathy Kelley attacked happened to them. Ziggler clarified that it was Bloodline. They were beating down everyone on their site.
Match 3 – The OC (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) defeated the Alpha Academy
This match was lesser than six minutes and it was a good match. But every time you see the Alpha Academy in action, it is quite easy to say that they will lose and it will be Chad Gable who will take the pin. They are currently the ultimate jobbers of WWE. Luke Gallows pinned Chad Gable after the Magic Killer.
After the match, the Bloodline attacked OC as well. The chaos has now entered the ring. They started beating down all the members of the OC (of course not Mia Yim). Adam Pearce came out with the security to stop them. The Bloodline said that they were done here anyway. It was just a glimpse of what they would do to Kevin Owens and John Cena.

Backstage Alexa Bliss and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair got interviewed together. Alexa tried to explain what happened last week. She talked about whatever she went through during her team up with Bray Wyatt and how she had to went through therapies after he left her. Bianca was not convinced with the explanations about last week.
As they were about to leave, the sign of Bray Wyatt appeared for a moment on the television set that was hanging behind them and Alexa hit Bianca with a flower vase made of glass. The vase shattered, Bianca was down and Alexa left. The RAW Women’s title match was set for RAW two weeks after.
Match 4 – Ladder Match – The Miz defeated Dexter Lumis
This match was booked for 15 minutes and it was one of the most entertaining matches of the night. It was a total hardcore match with a lot of weapon being involved. Even the announce table got shattered after Dexter missed a body splash. At the end of the match when Dexter was about to climb the ladder and grab the two bags of money, Bronson Reed made a shocking return and stopped him.
He beat down Dexter and helped Miz climb the ladder to earn the victory. Miz has now formed and alliance with Bronson Reed. It would be good to see a stable of these people after Tommaso Ciampa makes his return. Overall it was an excellent match.
Match 5 – Sami Zayn defeated AJ Styles
This match was booked for over 10 minutes and it was a very good match. Styles dominated the most part of the match but at the end of the match Solo Sikoa interfered and he hit a Samoan Spike on AJ which the referee failed to notice. Sami quickly hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on AJ and pinned him.
Next up was a face to face segment between Austin Theory and Seth Rollins. This was an excellent segment to promote their United States championship match that will take place two weeks after on Monday Night RAW. At the end of the segment the Usos interfeared once again. Austin Theory left the arena as Rollins have to take on the duo all alone. Kevin Owens came out to save Rollins. A tag team match between the 4 individuals had been announced.

Match 6 – Bayley defeated Becky Lynch
This match was booked for 11 minutes and it was a good match, even though it was not as good as everybody expected it could be. There were too many interferences from Damage CTRL throughout the match and at the end, Bayley earned a cheeky victory. When Damage CTRL was distracting the referee, Bayley hit Becky with an object and hit the Rose Plant to pin her.
Match 7 – Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens defeated The Usos in a non title match
This match was booked for eight and a half minutes and it was also a good match. As expected Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins took the victory and it was Kevin Owens who got the pinfall win. He pinned Jimmy Uso with a Power Bomb. During the match, Solo Sikoa attempted to help the Usos but The OC took him out. After the match, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens once again had a face of but once again they avoided the fight. Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins celebrated as this week’s RAW went off air.
Overall it was an average week of Monday Night RAW. They are trying really hard to book good shows for the red brand, but what special can you do without a World champion appearing, no Tag Team title seen either. What else can you get?
As long as Kevin Owens is the number one contender for the WWE Universal title right now, at least there are something to see. They booked some long matches but nothing were very special. However the ladder match was pretty fun. The Bloodline trying to hijack the show was also pretty fun and something new comparing to the recent shows. We give this week’s RAW 2 out of 5.
