Former WWE star and a former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison who is also a former Impact World Heavyweight Champion recently claimed that CM Punk always had temper when things did not go his way.

CM Punk had been one of the biggest names of professional wrestling during the early PG era days of WWE. It was not very easy for him to gain popularity among the fans. But his back to back excellent performances and promos made him extremely famous. His rivalries with the likes of John Cena and some of the other big names of WWE helped his popularity more.

John Morrison Reveals How CM Punk Reacted If Things Did Not Go His Way

But in early 2014 he parted ways with WWE due to some rage over the promotion. He remained missing from the world of professional wrestling for over seven years and in 2021 he finally made his return but this time holding the hands of the newly founded professional wrestling promotion AEW which is the biggest rival of WWE. It was such a huge moment for his fans since they were waiting to see him return to action for such a long time.

But his return could not be as planned as once again he had beef with this promotion as well. He became one of the most hated men in the local room of AEW and recently he is rumoured to be parting ways with this promotion as well. Punk had been badly criticized after these series of incidents and it is also you mad that no promotion wanted him in their company anymore. The former five times WWE Champion is slowly losing his fame.

John Morrison who is also a former Impact World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke to BOOTLEG UNIVERSE where he claimed that CM Punk always had temper when things did not go his way. He said;

“He’s always had a temper when things don’t go his way. In his defense, what he wants is to make it, you know? … I don’t know exactly the extent of his injuries, but I think he tore … his upper tricep or something on the dive, … which is very frustrating. So he’s frustrated because he’s got this big opportunity to carry the company, and he’s got this huge paycheck, and he tears his tricep and his foot.

“He’s one of the people that changed the course of the industry, and it’s never cool to see anybody like that get hurt. What I think is funny is how he dealt with it because in some ways he just lashed out at the entire AEW roster. Whether they deserved it or not, I don’t know. From his point of view, they did.

“I’ve wrestled the guy, not recently, but probably close to 100 times. At the beginning, we were butting heads quite a bit. It took like 20 matches, and then after that … I thought our chemistry was on point and he became one of my favorite opponents.”
