In DPL 2016, 22 of Indian players participated in this tournament. There were 36 overseas players. The likes of Dinesh Karthik, Yusuf Pathan and other Indian cricketers came to take part in the 50 over tournament. Abhani Limited were the winners of the DPL 2016 tournament. The Indian and Sri Lankan players were the main attraction this season.
